Timber Mill invests in ISM.

After years of working a manual Health & Safety recording system at their mill at Waipa, Forestry Corporation of New Zealand Ltd wanted to provide the mill with a more streamline system, that would also integrate with the new Health and Safety regulations in New Zealand (Health & Safety Employment Act 1992).

The Solution

Company representatives from Forestry Corporation of New Zealand were invited to visit the Health & Safety Department at BHP New Zealand Steel, who have been using the ISM Health & Safety Management solution for several years.

Not long thereafter Forestry Corporation of New Zealand invested in the ISM Health & Safety Management software, which is a Health & Safety Management solution developed by Computer Craft .

The ISM software provided the Health & Safety manager at the mill with a structured reporting system, which provided a tool to follow up on all reported incidents, as well as compliance with the new Health and Safety regulations.
